Pick me up before I go go!

Seeing as it is that time of the year again - the time of year when the Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) starts to take its effect (that would be a dark and depressing affect), the time of year when the days are seriously starting to shrink and the desire (or need in the the case of the somewhat elderly student) for sleep is expanding at a similarly rapid pace, the time of year when the thought of the lingering June exams causes such an unbearable heaviness of being in our souls that we seriously start to question our reasons for coming to university in the first place and plans for a continuation of studies beyond the present year are blown away on the autumn breeze...
Well, as a result of the above-mentioned energy-sapping inflictions that are part and parcel of WINTER, I thought it a good idea to compile a little early-morning pick-me-upper CD to help the SAD-suffering student get out of bed on those rainy winter mornings.

So, as my fellow soon-to-be SAD-suffering students, I invite you to drop a note in the suggestion box (that is, leave a comment). Let me know what you consider to be the ultimate pick-me-upper, able-to-drag-one-from-the-depths-of-despair song! Please, don't just suggest your current MFM radio hit.
I want serious classics that have stood the test of time, filled and refilled you with energy. The song that to this day puts a smile on your face when they play it on the radio or in Pick & Pay when you do your grocery shopping. The song that you still and forever will love even after having listened to it SO many times that your parents/ roommates/ neighbours/ siblings (who did not understand your level of initial despair nor the rejuvenating effects of THAT one song!) would have been willing to travel great distances, to infinity and beyond, to destroy that cd/tape in the fires of Mordor.

Yeees, THAT song.

I impatiently await your suggestions. Hurry though, winter isn't waiting for anybody.
